Best Buddies by jarede
This cat doesn’t come inside often but with the colder weather i have found him curled up in a bowl more often than not…...Dakota is the gentlest and sweetest of all the dogs, and his curiosity of the cat was quickly rewarded with a swat on the nose! Just wanted to share the moment. Nikon D90 / as is featured in: As Is

Hugging time..... by jdmphotography
Prairie Marmots….. UNTOUCHED IMAGE AND STRAIGHT FROM THE CAMERA ! Generally large ground squirrels, those most often referred to as marmots tend to live in mountainous areas such as the Alps, Carpathians, Tatra, and Pyrenees in Europe, the Rockies and the Sierra Nevada in the United States, and Northern Canada. However, the groundhog is also properly called a marmot, while the similarly-sized but more social prairie dog is not classified in the genus Marmota but in the related genus Cynomys. Marmots typically live in burrows, and hibernate there through the winter. Most marmots are highly social, and use loud whistles to communicate with one another, especially when alarmed. Marmots mainly eat greens. They eat many types of grasses, berries, lichens, mosses, roots and flowers.

Three years later she is loved and attends school. We can and do make a difference to children in extreme poverty and sick. 1. Upload only two photo’s per day.
2. Photographs MUST BE as the camera took them and untouched. IMAGE MUST STATE AS IS/ OR STRAIGHT FROM THE CAMERA.
3. Definately no photoshop etc… no touch-ups, no colourations, no darkening/lightening of specific parts of a photo, no cropping and definately no S/C work.
4. No frames or words added to an as is picture.
5. This group is intended for capturing an image and being proud enough as it is to post. So please no blurred/out of focus shots. Just great photos – Naturally.
6. Maximum of 10 per member. If you wish to add another image – you must chose one to remove.
7. No drawings/paintings/tshirts accepted. (there are groups for those).
8. Please only submit one photo of the same subject and try to keep each addition unique. Series shots are lovely but it is better to have variety.
9. We would also request that the pictures are suitable for workplace viewing.
Please respect the rules and others.
The idea of the group is to present untouched photographs, to be shown as close as possible to the original scene as the eye observed it through the camera. This is naked photography at it’s best.
