  • 'Autumn Falls' by Bill Rumming

Websters Falls in Autumn The Atlantic Province of New Brunswick, Canada, is blessed with an abundance of rivers and waterfalls. Some, like Websters [ also called ‘Trickle Falls’ ], are easily accessible but not visible from the road. It has been a favorite swimming hole with youngsters for many years and is indeed a ‘refreshing retreat’. / Located on the Guthrie Road between Bloomfield and Midland, / Kings County, New Brunswick, Canada.

  • Eventide by George Cousins

An especially beautiful evening at Peggy’s Cove, Nova Scotia, with a quiet Atlantic Ocean and a beautiful flaming sunset.I’ve already posted one from the same evening (“Fireball”) and I thought it would be interesting to silhouette the lighthouse against the setting sun. I waited until there were no people about,I felt it would be an intrusion on the serenity of the scene.

  • Nothing is more pleasing to be featured in a group, it makes all the effort very much worthwhile. Thank you to the folks at “My Neighborhood” for featuring my image “Quiet Time On The Bay”

  • Eternal Embrace by Stephanie Rachel Seely

This is my absolute favourite pair ever! My reproduction of an artwork called Lily’s Embrace done by Perselus on deviantart.com. (I have contacted the original artist, and she is aware that my reproduction of her work is posted here.) Done in pencil. A Severus Snape/Lily (Evans) Potter fan piece. Check out all of my Snape art here

  • Dog Tired by Scott Ruhs

This cute English Springer Spaniel temporarily belonged to my Father-in-Law, but the dog turned out to be too much work for a man in his health, so the dog had to be given away to a good home on a farm. / /

  • Baby Julia by Daphne Johnson

Baby Julia is the new daughter of my best friend. The first of several to be posted, this was taken Jan 2 2009. Trying to photograph such a sweet baby provided a whole new challenge, and will require much more practice. I captured this with my canon 450d, and did some slight processing using lightroom 2.

About This Group

A place for artists currently living in Atlantic Canada (New Brunswick, PEI, Nova Scotia…and yes, even Newfoundland) to show the rest of the world what incredible art and talent we produce over here. This is also a chance for us to get to know each other a little better, arrange collaborations and even organize meet-ups and excursions.

All disciplines are welcome!

If you are a resident of the Maritimes, work can be of any theme. Non-residents may also join but your work should be about the Canadian Maritimes

There will be no limits on number of images, but for visual appeal, please try and limit your uploads to 2-3 every few days. This will help ensure equal exposure for all of us and keep things looking nice and pretty on the site. :)

I will put work through an approval process simply to ensure that work either is from Atlantic Canadian artists or has a Canadian Maritime theme.

If you would like to help me moderate this group or have any ideas or suggestions, please scoot us a bubblemail.
