I want to dedicate this writing to those who have helped me during the last few weeks. It´s a big, big thank you. / Especially to Peter and Janine, but also to Klaus and Eva, who were a great support for me. / I love you dearly! / xxx You see me and then ask: / „How are you today?“. / You can´t see behind my mask, / as you always look away. Do you really want to know, / how I am today? / It`s so long ago / you listened, so I could say! The last time I remember well. / You came up to me to ask. / I felt so bad and said: „Like hell“. / For you it was just a task. You smiled at me and shook my hand, / said: „I´m so glad for you“. / You didn´t even listen to me and / left me shocked, like a statue. Why do you even ask me, / if you don´t want to hear? / No need to be friendly, / no need to fear. My friends who really want to know, / just look into my eyes. / No time for words, but feelings flow. / A look, a hug a little smile – I love you guys! In times when darkness is around, / my heart is still beating and warm. / Just my feelings are downed. / I need a little help to beat the storm. These friends are fantastic!!! / No judging, even if they could. / They know I´m just sick, / I´ll recover, like they said I would. Getting better everyday, / good feelings return. / Because people had their heart on display, / I saw and felt their concern. To these friends I say thank you, / you are a great support.
