* / English version: The key In the beaming light there thou stroll’st, / thy sore, oppressed soul finally comes to a rest. Thy heart with all its love now talks, / and ultimately thy smile enlightens thy face again. The truth thou can feel now deep inside of thee, / thy silent prayers, thy calls for help – they’ve reached me. The testing time was hard and difficult … / often thou did feel so alone, tired and hollow within. Thou nearly broke under the heap of thy fears and sorrow, / and thy soul was tortured by so many questions… Not free of it thou are’st now – nor will you be for a bit of time, / but nonetheless thou are willing to ignite the shining light. The angel in thee – he calls for me, / as I am with thee … just believe in me. Walk thy path with care and arouse thy strength, / don’t be afraid when others talk about „mighty power“ . The power meant … is the shimmering light, / it is the love speaking out of thy shining soul. Trust in thyself and thy INNER child! / Keep saying again and again: I am loving myself! The love for thee is the key for thyself / and somewhen … thou will even be able to recognize me. *** / Photograph inspired by the words – written by me!

No, I didn’t grow these, but bought them …. when I walked past them in the shop, the most heavenly fragrance struck me… and I had to buy them. Panasonic FZ20 compact, 1/60sec at F 2.8, ISO 200
Macro of a glass object that belonged to my grandmother. / Sony S-650 and natural sunlight.
I produced this to celebrate the age old art of the written word. I love writing even though I usually press keys these days, there is nothing like holding a pencil in your hand and letting it roam free across the page creating words that come from within, bought to the surface by your spirit to create a form of your self and your emotions on paper…that’s how I see it anyway :O) I have an Art of Writing Challenge in the Australia! You’re Standing In It..group to celebrate this ancient art that should not be forgotten. HERE IS MY LINK FOR AN EXAMPLE OF WHAT TO DO TO ENTER VIA YOUR WRITING / Even though that is not an entry in the competition it shows how easy it is to link your writings to an artwork… / (See my Tutorial below to learn simple links that help here) OR I COULD HAVE WRITTEN IT HERE or CLEARLY ON MY ARTWORK. We can all type it up but in the back of our minds let’s appreciate the Art of Writing! / THE CHALLENGE AGAIN… If you wish to purchase this image please let me know and I will remove the words A Challenge from the title before purchase, thanks.

This group is designed to feature domestic art – that is to say objects (not people or pets) commonly found in the home and/or relating to the home, but portrayed in a not-so-common way.
As long as the subject of the image is an inanimate object found in your home (and the quality is good), we’ll be happy to add it to our image gallery. Please remember to only submit your VERY BEST!
We hold several group voting contests of various themes and display 12 new featured works per week in order to assist our members in gaining good exposure to the very best images submitted here.
What Our Members Think Of The Group…
LEFTHANDPRINTS: I also want to add what a great group this is to belong to. We can’t always get away to photograph the unusual or the exotic so it’s great to know that ones’ own surroundings can be the basis for creativity and to have a group where those efforts can be appreciated. I’ve certainly seen some amazing images composed with the common everyday item as the subject matter and suddenly the things I’ve taken for granted around home have taken on a brand new perspective. We look forward to continued enjoyment and participation in this group in the future. Thank you…
