Nikon D700 / Sigma 105mm Wandering around the bushland outside the Royal Botanic Gardens in Cranbourne, stalking bandicoots when I spotted these beautiful little dried out flowers. No bandicoots today but lots of sweet little native flowers.
Many people inspire me on Redbubble but sometimes we have to make a point of thanking those that give us so much encouragement and also to show those of you who do not already know them, the opportunity to look at their work. Pauline AKA naturelover has been my inspiration for a while. I am sure that if she wasn’t on the other side of the world there would be many cups of tea and glasses of wine devoured between photo shoots between the two of us!! Thank you all for looking at my work and for the comments you all so generously give. I truly appreciate all of you. xx This was taken with my new lens and is totally untouched – hence the title. Only through our love and friendship can we create the illusion for the moment that we’re not alone.” quote by Orson Welles. ..a first experimental fractal …layered flowers onto an Apophysis+gradients/layers/blended/opacity etc; inspired by the quote ....
Waterlily, In the grounds of Paronella Park, Queensland, Australia. /
Grown in my backyard in Colorado.
These striking Azaleas are pure proof that White can truly be the most beautiful color in the garden.
The rainstorm has gently folded this Peony into a bed of leaves.

This half dead bachelor button looks like another galxy with tiny planets circling…lol…taken with my Nikon P80 with macro lens and 2x telephoto lens after a misting in my garden…sunlight through storm clouds just enough to add color. I used clarify and curves to brighten and dodged some shadows then removed noise…I don’t know a lot about advanced post processing but think I am doing ok??
OIL PAINTING INVERSION / Image Copyright © 2008 JANE À PARIS / Professionally photographed by Citizens Photo Original Title: THEY ARE WATCHING ME WITH FLOWERS – ILS SONT M’OBSERVENT AVEC DES FLEURS I had to shorten it for the print to: STARING EYES WITH FLOWERS, this is an inversion of the original work titled: Other Eyes, Surprise!!! This is about the police and other people putting cameras in my private spaces and watching me, and often the people who are watching me also attempt to establish relationships with me, that is why there are flowers in the painting – the flowers allude to romantic love. This painting is also about psychological abuse, because the act of being watched by a large group of people is abuse, especially when they don’t belong in your private spaces, and the different colors of all the eyes and eyes in square blocks, little cages, represent all my many different tormentors that I cannot please, because they all have different needs, desires, opinions, and so forth. Many of my paintings are about the psychological torture I have had to endure for years because of politics. THEIR LIES Their lies… It isn’t about money, sex, medical care or any of their other lies / It is about never-endingly scapegoating another human being / It is about using power in a corrupt way / It never ends, it never ends, it never ends / I am not human, and I am certainly not being / My life just gets worse and worse, because the people that think they have the right to prey on me never-endingly do… If you play with my mind, invade my personal space, and try to make me feel like I’m nothing, or that I have no rights then you are certainly not my friend – If you torture and abuse me sexually, mentally, emotionally, physically, and financially, and then lie about it, you are not my friend – or keep a camera trained on me 24/7… JANE Á PARIS Copyright ©2008 JANE Á PARIS JANE À PARIS Copyright ©2008 JANE À PARIS Description – / This is about political persecution, harrassment, abuse, torture, and being a never-ending scapegoat. STARING EYES WITH FLOWERS belongs to the following groups: / *♂♥♥QUORN♥♥♀, All Things Poetic, Artistic, Philosophical, Boredom Competitions on the 24/7, Bubblettes, Fabulous Flowers, Fine Arts, Passions, Safe Haven, Something To Say and Underground USA / Available for sale as Greeting Cards, Matted Prints, Laminated Prints, Mounted Prints, Canvas Prints and Framed Prints
What a desolate place would be a world without a flower!
It would be a face without a smile, a feast without a welcome.
Are not flowers the stars of the earth, and are not our stars
the flowers of the heaven.
- A.J. Balfour
