This is named for the original params of a spiral shell that were shared with me and I tweaked my little blue brains out on them. This was one of my favorite results. It looks a little like cloisonne beads to me. Made in Apophysis 2.08 3D Hack and postwork in Photoshop CS. I hope you like it.

This is my second version, which has been published in a few e-zine magazines some of them are listed on my freewebs or mosaicglobe links… this one I liked more.
UF 5.2; my own gradients / I figured out how to do the sphere thing…..lol….(happy dance)! I mean, I knew how to do spheres with other things in them already, but I didn’t know how so many folks were making them look like reflections of the fractal they were in…..this one was done in UF, as part of the fractal. It was not imported in! (yay!) copyright 2009, Michelle P. UF 5.2; my own gradients / Just something pretty, nothing dramatic or bold this time…...but I know the params will drive Plunder nuts…...hehehe!

I’m particularly happy with this one, the “stairs” shapes came as a surprise. Made with Ultra Fractal. Thank you for the views and faves. :)
We had been traipsing around the galaxy in hunt of the legendary city known as Temple City. It is said the civilization there depended greatly on their priests to run the city and their government. From our past history, we know how that can end. As we walked througout the many levels of the city, there was cinder scattered all over. Having dual suns made the lighting a bit eerie at times. There was no wildlife in the air nor the ocean. We found no life in the city. The temples were gorgeous, but there was a feeling of sadness all throughout the area. We left with the feeling of great loss. And no, we did no treasure hunting. :o) Created in Incendia with postwork done in Photoshop for Hue and some clean up with smudging and painting that never seemed to go away from the 6 day render. Some of the forms just seem to work out that way. Thank goodness for Photoshop. :o)

Read the group description and guidelines before adding a work !!!
Please mention in your description which fractal software you used! If you don’t and I can’t easily recognise a fractal in your image, it will be removed. I’ve already done so, if you’re wondering why your work disappeared from the group.
If you explain how and where a fractal was involved in the creation of a mixed artwork I will accept it.
Only 2 images or clothing items per day, please!
GROUP DESCRIPTION
This group gathers fractal artists who want to help fractal art to be visible as a genre of its own.
Unlike what might be thought first when discovering these digital artworks, the computer does not do it all! Of course, these pictures could not exist without computer programs (such as Apophysis, Ultra Fractal and many more), but behind each piece, its creator spent huge amounts of time tweaking parameters, searching for original formulas or shapes, and experimenting with forms, colors, textures, often with the additional use of layers, or mixing different fractal types or different medias… some even do care about the math behind!
The whole idea of the Fractal Art Frenzy group is to bring people to engage in the most creative process, incorporate this fractal tool in their palette, explore new territories of digital creation, and expand the genre in all sorts of paths!
