  • Bangor by daftnation

Bangor, in Gwynedd, North Wales, is one of the smallest cities in the United Kingdom. It is a university city with a population of 13,725 at the 2001 census, not including around 10,000 students at Bangor University. Including nearby Menai Bridge the population is about 18,000. Also, according to the census, 46.6% of the population speak Welsh (despite most of the students coming from outside Wales).

    Model- Stacey Kingman

  • Finding Neverland by Summer Kay

    somewhere in memphis

  • Classic Alleyway by Chris Richards

A shot down an alley some place in Italy. There is something so classically European about a multitude of bikes in an alley that I had to grab this shot.

  • A view from the Forum by Chris Richards

If you asked me what this building was, I couldn’t tell you. This was taken from the ruins of the Forum in Rome while on my two week excursion to Europe. The sky, the clouds, the dome, and the shadows cast by the sun all seemed to come together too well to let this photo opportunity pass by.

  • And from the Fountain Sprung the Water of Life by Chris Richards

One of the multiple fountains in the Vatican Square, backlit by the sun itself. The fine detail of the water drops is so amazing, but barely visible in any of the small scale images you’ll see here. A full view would be to your advantage.

About This Group

Teens across the world are getting a lot of bad press. This group showcases young talent and encourages creativity, collaboration, uniqueness and diversity. All members are aged between 16 and 20.
Work is approved by 2 hosts and members can submit art, photography, t-shirt designs and/or writing.
We will have forums, competitions, room for critique, featured artists and a unique logo to identify members.

For all their maddening traits, teenagers are still glorious creatures. Full of promise and potential.

This fortnight’s featured artist is Chelseal
Terri interviewed Chelseal as the winner of the latest Challenge. Here’s what she had to say and some favourite pieces of her work….

Thanks Terri!!

As i look thru your gallery I cant help but notice the eyes…you seem to have a passion for seeing more depth…tell us what you see when you look into the eyes of those you photograph…

I don’t really know, i just have such a fascination, how can we such beautiful things, I feel someone can be described just by thier eyes, they literally are the window to our souls!

When you go out on a photo shoot..do you plan where you will go and what is in your camera bag…?

I can’t really say I go out on photoshoots..haha. Yesterday I just took my camera to school, because I knew I didn’t have many classes, then I just see something fascinating.. so I take pictures. Otherwise when I’m just having a conversation I’ll just snap away at them :D

Aside from photography and art…what are some of your passions..?

I have been playing guitar for 5 months, not very long, but my guitar teacher said I’m the most improved student..ever! :D Everyday I play it, it’s so habitual, get up, get ready for school, try and do it quick so I can play. I just wrote a song too :D mum loves it :)
I also played piano for two years, but gave up, it was too expensive. I also LOVE reading. READING READING READING. At the moment I am overly obsessed with stephenie meyer’s ‘twilight’ saga. Unbelievably brilliant! (for a teenage girl) haa.

If you could give a gift to your parents..any gift at all…what would it be…?

Unconditional love isn’t enough? haa, probably something sentimental, rather than material…I really can’t think of a thing! :|

Living in Australia you are surrounded by beauty of a mystical land……where is a place you dream of going and doing a photo shoot at ?…and i hope we see the shots.:)

Many many places. I want to go to coasts all around, and get amazing sunsets, but then i would want to go to Blue Mountains, amazing snow. It differs really, i want to go EVERYWHERE!

Thanks Chelseal….you’re in good company here. Terri and I both play guitar and are bookaholics too…..as well as the photography and heART. Thanks for sharing!
And here are some of my personal faves from your gallery…..
