Just another verse from the song “She’s Like A Rainbow”... Have you seen her dressed in blue? / See the sky in front of you / And her face is like a sail / Speck of white so fair and pale / Have you seen a lady fairer? (The song makes me feel ridiculously giddy. A Stones fav of mine) Again, playing around with Day Two work from my pencil drawing Seedling / and let her play with the same drippy florals as my first piece of this name, but applied in a different hue and, well, differently.
This is a macro of the beautiful Koala at the opening of the Gateway Centre, Bulli Tops- Wollongong. He was sooo cute and very interested in everything that was going on, that was until he spotted all the gum trees around the centre and tried to escape. Luckily he didn’t get too far. He was very contrite as you can see from this shot. / Taken with my Canon 40 DSLR / ISO- 400 / F/ stop- 7.1 / Exposure time: 1/125 / focal length- 76mm / Thanks for visiting

This T-shirt features the oversized eyes of my drawing Patina and a branch from “In the Brush” When I started drawing again after a 15 year hiatus, I liked making very exaggerated features – chiefly the eyes. You could say I went a little overboard with this one. (grin) I was listening to Anne Rice’s “Interview with a Vampire” when I drew these eyes. I can still hear the description of Claudia when I look at this face. AND, a mug with this design is available at Zazzle. / / Copy and paste this address: / http://www.zazzle.com/patina_and_the_brush_mug-16894548747378

I was gifted with a trunk of poems by a cyber poet. Here is an excerpt from “Oracle” that I thought would work well with an excerpt of my pencil drawing Forty Seventh Fall messages / in the silence / pictures come light paths / sketched across / twilight / touches . . . Here’s what the entire drawing looks like: The archival matted and framed original is for sale. Please email me for details.
