Iris in the rain by Marjorie Wallace
Last Spring, the warmer weather arrived late with much cooler and rainier conditions in the gardens. At the Point Defiance Park Garden show, the days were quite rainy. We walked the extensive gardens wearing raincoats and carrying our umbrellas to keep us from getting totally soaked. Although most of us would not be out in such weather to admire the flowers, I actually found it quite magical and the flowers looked very fresh and happy.

Predict by Shawtiie
The colour of this flower was what caught my attention at first … then i seen it just sitting there amongst all the green and brown grass and water all by itself. Then i started to think about what happened to make this flower grow all on its own whilst the others grew in clumps together then i realised that for flowers to grow together they have to be planted together. Therefore the best way to predict the future is to crete it. Roma Street Parklands / 29th September 2008
