An original pastel painting. Original artwork size- 45cm x 67cm. 2007 It seems the larger the animal, the more docile and appealing they are. What would the world be without these magnificent creatures…...great and small! / These two are probably old enough to start training as a team in harness. / Sold at exhibition :) Has been featured in ‘Everything Draft Horse’, ‘Equine Art and Photography’, Traditional Equine Art’ and ‘All Pets Great and Small’ groups.
Here’s my cat CHEDDAR, he’s got a thing/fasination for birdies, and he bolted out of the Antique shop door, and before i knew it ~ He was up the Ginko Tree, right out side my door!
A one week old colt takes the opportunity to get closer to his mum for a horse hug. / Taken in the rolling hills of Sutherlands Creek.
This is Rocco when he was only about 6 months old. The Ferret Nation cage was sitting in front of the window, he climbed up the back to get on the windowsill to take a nap. We couldn’t find him, searched everywhere. Ferrets can find places to sleep you never knew existed, trust me. We peeked behind the cage and there he was, fast asleep on the window sill, on top of the “too-long-for-the window” blinds. Rocco is now 2 1/2 years old and just as gorgeous as he was here. He is such a sweet little guy. This is for the Funny places ferrets end up challenge in the Ferret Family group Best viewed larger

Two of my American Quarter Horses, Byrue Sandy and Pocos Skippa Buddy, load up on acorns that have fallen, as the fog swirls over the pond in the background. The way they stuff themselves, you’d think I don’t feed them through the winter…....... but I do, and I feed them well!
From time to time I take photos for a regional animal shelter… this is one of two kitten… Pasha is really cute and we had a lot of fun with our “shooting” ... / Both kitten found a new home and both can stay together.

This is my aunt Sandi’s Doxie puppy Crystal floating on the pool floatie in the pool, she looks like she is smiling for the camera to me! She has clear blue crystal eyes, thus her name. /

This photo is straight from the camera. It’s AS IS...... On our day out with friends to Murton Park and the Yorkshire Museum of Farming near Harrogate, we spent time wondering though the grounds and the other attractions. On our way to the replica Roman Fort in England (which surprisingly look much more like a wild west fort), we passed by a field of sheep, two of which were very near the fence. My youngest son, Joel was so taken with these creatures that stood as tall as him. Whilst the others moved on towards the fort, Joel stayed behind (as did I) to have what could only be described as a conversation with this sheep. he would say something and the sheep would bleat. Then Joel would say something else and the sheep would bleat. It was so precious. This went on a few moments and then he reached through the fence and pet the sheep, sort of a goodbye hand shake, as you can see in the photo below. What a fabulous moment to capture. The only way I could capture it was to lift my camera high, and shoot above the fence line. I am very pleased with how it turned out. Canon EOS-1Ds Mark ll / 28-300mm IS zoom lens / f/9 / 1/200 / ISO 100 / Exposure Bias -0.67
