Heb 12:2 "Looking unto Jesus by TREVOR IRWIN
Taken in city of London cemetery E12. I love cemeteries as they often hid beautiful works of art. I hope you like this. One thing Angels Are not is they are not redeemed. they look on us with great joy as we have been bought with a price, the blood of Jesus. They see the resurrection of Jesus from the dead as a great Victory . / We as Gods children do not look at the resurrection as just a victory, we have the victory and the power of that victory living in us each day. His life in us is what makes us different and superior to Angels. They are ministering agents to work with us and for us. And much more than this, but it would take all the page to share it here. All proceeds from sale of my art goes to Philadelphia Mission Charity, working with extreme poor, sick and disabled in isolated and rural village in Africa Please read my writing called Angels on Assignment. Donate some of your art and save a child’s life! I invite all to please visit my Mission Africa Charity website: / http://www.philadelphia33.org/

Simple Beauty by Kasey Cline
It always amazes me how simple it is to find beauty in something. We are all like flowers, there is beauty in each and every one of us and sometimes it just takes some else to show us that beauty!!! / Straight from camera no post editing. One of my favorite flowers to photograph. They are so small but yet are so beautiful!!! Good things come in small packages!

Ellis County Courthouse by Glenna Walker
The Ellis County Courthouse was built from architectural plans created by J. Riely Gordon. The building incorporates the Richardsonian Romanesque architectural style originally created by Boston architect Henry Hobson Richardson and made popular in Texas by J. Riely Gordon. For the Ellis County Courthouse Gordon used a floor-plan different from many other county courthouses in Texas of the same vintage. Many county courthouses built in this time period had intersecting halls on the first floor that created the rigidity required to support the weight of the district courtroom positioned near the middle of the building on the second floor. For the Ellis County Courthouse Gordon used a floor plan that provided an open space at the center of the building first surrounded by a staircase then surrounded by a gallery that provided access to offices and courtrooms. The large second-floor courtroom was pushed off to one side of the building so the center space was open all the way up to the clock tower. This open space at the center of the courthouse created a chimney effect. Cool air was drawn in through first floor windows toward the center of the building then straight up to the tower where hot air was exhausted out of the building. Besides the advantage of superior ventilation, Gordon’s design incorporated a circular form which worked well with the Romanesque Revival architectural style. Turrets containing spiral stairways and balconies incorporate readily with the circular form. The building is further enhanced by the use of stone of contrasting colors. From the building’s base first gray and then pink granite are used. Red Pecos sandstone is used for accent, and cream colored sandstone is also used sparingly on a few stringcourses. Ellis County’s courthouse is without a doubt one of the grandest old county courthouses in the Southwest. To make it even more interesting the county recently spent about eleven million dollars restoring the building. After years of restoration work, the courthouse was reopened in the fall of 2002. The restoration was so detailed that they matched the colors of the interior to those used when the building was originally built, and the county bought red sandstone for repairs from the same query that produced the stone used for construction in 1895. This is truly a good time to go see the Ellis County Courthouse! Submitted for the Architecture Challenge in the Redfield Plugins Group.

Seduction of the Female Nude (Acrylics)- by Robert Dye
This recently produced piece was created with india ink and acrylic paints. I first used a sable brush and india ink to paint the form outline (no initial sketch was used), allowing for a delicate, permanent line quality to start from. Then I used acrylic paints and glosses to paint in the work, shading some areas (with layering), and letting other areas retain a simplified and loose painterly brushstroke property. The female figure is represented from different perspectives conveying an overall more “seductive” feeling within the painting. Her hands encompassing her face, and her one eye draws in a great amount of focus. Her torso and lower regions compliment and balance the entire composition, which creates a continual visual flow, and initiates an intriguing “intercourse” between the viewer and the work. I was overwhelmed after painting it (tired and satisfied at the same time). I felt as if I had been “seduced”. The original dimensions of the piece are 15in. X 11in. it was painted in 2008.

Zen Sunrise (Illustration)- by Robert Dye
This is an illustration piece that was created with black ink and watercolor pencils on paper. It has an interesting depth within the face, from the lotuses, to the trees, to the sunrise in the forehead. There is some celtic knot work, and use of symbiotic lines. I enjoy the earth and moon imagery which is incorporated within the ears, and how they balance the center of the image. It was an entrancing and methodical work to finish. It was created in 2007.

Wisps on the street by Prasad
Another time laps shot, with my first effort to merge two different photographs. I was trying it for few months on my own but didn’t got it through. Finally made it this time. This is result of merger of two different images taken with different time intervals on the same location and setting and captured early morning before the day breaks out on the streets. We were just awaiting the bus to take us on a day trip of my Ornithology course. The bus got delayed and I found time to shoot early morning wisps on the streets. Shot with Canon 10 – 20 mm lens. Av – F11, Tv – 30 sec. each. Equipment : Canon EOS 400D

I SHOULDN’T – AUTHOR: KEITH WILLIAMS
I SHOULDN’T
I know i shouldn’t
i can’t resist
just one kiss
i know it may lead to something else
that’s the chance i’m willing to take
i hope this isn’t a mistake
i know i shouldn’t
nibble right there
run my fingers through your hair
do i dare
touch you where you lose control
i know i shouldn’t
i can’t resist
stop my hands from grabbing your hips
my lips from licking your tits
sliding right in
grinding, over and over again
i know i shouldn’t
you feel so good
the way you moved your body
told me you understood
the way you sunk your nails into my back
said things i can never say
your warmth as we lay
comforts me
so much i fall asleep
with one eye open
in case you want to get real deep
into a sensual type of love
that we’ve been dreaming of
i know i shouldn’t
i can’t resist
come here baby!
just one more kiss
NOW ABOUT THIS GROUP
The Bits and Pieces Group although we initially started out accepting pieces of art
and writings that did not fit into any other Groups….we have grown and now feel
that we will accept any art and writings as long as they meet the Group’s guidelines
and are accepting “bits and pieces” that have been accepted by other Groups…
..for people new to writing… and anything else they may need a hand with….......where novices can post without feeling self conscious …..
.....a place where everyone with a love for expressions can meet and greet…...and say…”.Hey….....how can I finish this off..”
Or where ones upload has been exceeded….and a refuge is needed until they can post again….
This is just a “Pub on the Corner” type place…....
....we like to think of it as “BIPS” where our beeps of imagination become beautiful songs!
Is yours the next Masterpiece?
The voice that speaks to hearts?
An escape to moments of harmony?
you’ll never know until you’ve tried!
