Time appears to momentarily stand still, but these rock stack’s timeless, defiant stand against the elements will eventually come to an end. bubblesite / photography blog / portfolio Canon EOS 5DmkII. / ©T.Middleton2009 —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-——
Camping a couple of nights at this beautiful spot was almost surreal…surrounded by tropical rainforest and the calcium rich waters from flowing through limestone country made it look even more idyllic – seclusion,isolation..add some fantastic company and a natural heaven is there.. as always – thanks for viewing and yes these are/were the actual colours of the original transperancy. / / EOS A2, Fuji Velvia 50. / ©T.Middleton2007 / view this image large bubblesite / photography blog / portfolio ©T.Middleton2009 —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-——

a severe storm looms heavily over the tranquil waters of Tin Can Bay in Qld. In little time all its fury is unleashed on the area. / / / EOS A2, Fuji Velvia 50. / ©T.Middleton2007 bubblesite / photography blog / portfolio —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—— / / see more of my weather related photography by clicking on the preview image below. / / / /
I recently was fortunate enough to travel some parts of our great southern land and could not resist returning to a surreal place in gulf savannah country in NW Qld. In this scene light bounces down off the gorge wall in the twilight as the creek gently cascades its way through the lower gorge. This is a crop of approximately 30% of a 6×17 image I took – so the original image is still recorded at 6cm x 4cm almost twice the size of 35mm film or full frame sensor. It’s not too often that I ‘shoot’ during the middle of the day, but this place was so divine I could not resist a second longer in grabbing my camera gear out. Within no time I had set about finding a composition that I felt summised the place and my ecstacy as well as possible… / / / EOS A2, Fuji Velvia 50. / ©T.Middleton2008 —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—— / / / see more from this series and other parts of our majestic coast by clicking below /
A 4 second exposure over Flinders on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria…This thunderstorm really got going and had me licking my lips with enthusiastic anticipation as frequent pulsating ‘blue’ and ‘purple’ tinged bolts screamed down from the heavens…a bit of a pity it weakened after 10minutes and 10km’s short of my location. I still managed to capture this awesome staccato bolt though ! / / / EOS A2, Fuji Velvia 50 view this image large bubblesite / photography blog / portfolio ©T.Middleton2009 —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—— —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—— / / / *see more of my weather related photography by clicking below / /

As dawn breaks on a low tide revealing an incredible array of tidal sand patterns. I discover something that appears out of the ordinary – ‘against the grain…’ / I am unsure of what sort of worm or creature is the architect of this mighty fine little structure but it certainly caught my attention. / / EOS A2, Fuji Velvia 50. / ©T.Middleton2007 —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—— / / see more of my photography from Nth Qld below /

This group is to promote the work of one exceptional RB artist at a time – people who have a body of work – at least 12 images, works of art or pieces of writing that are consistently high quality and show an exceptional degree of creativity, technique, craft skill, thought and beauty or interest. These are the people who inspire you on RB and who you leap to add to your Watchlist when you come across them, even when their art form may be completely different to your own.
One artist will be featured each week.
So come and join and be inspired and have the very best of RB delivered to your doorstep.
Posting of works to this group is by invitation only – only featured artists will be able to post 12 of their works for their feature.
Body of Work is just one of 1684 creative groups powered by RedBubble.
