Something that just came to mind, I’m very happy with the results!! This is actually somewhat like something else I’ve had in mind, hopefully I’ll get to that idea sometime soon. This idea was to make me an alien of some sort, beautiful, yet slightly scary and slightly human-like. When inverted, most of the colors on my face make up a regular-looking face. White = black, blue-green = skin tone. So I look half normal in terms of color when this picture is inverted.

A young angel looks lovingly upon the doves she cradles in her hands. Since mourning doves mate for life I thought Soul Mates would be a fitting title for this image. This piece started with 5 layered images and took several hours to complete. Every pixel of this piece was digitally painted and/or blended. Photography was the starting point and the rest of the work was completed in Photoshop and Corel Painter X. About This Group
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE JOINING
This group was formed to help artists learn how to use graphic editing software (such as Photoshop) and techniques to create artistic masterpieces. Redbubble is about uploading your BEST creative work. So is this group, so your work should have some artistic merit to be accepted to this group.
There are different paces to this group from beginner to advanced artists, but we have one thing in common – we all want to learn more. This is not just another group to join and display your work. It is expected that if you are a beginner and you add work to this group, you are adding it with the intent of making it better. If you are an advanced artist, then you add work with the intention of inspiring others and to help beginners master the same techniques.
This is NOT a place for fractal art, abstract art, patterns, self-portraits, HDR, writing, journals and most of all “happy snaps” of your family, pets, holidays etc. There are other groups for all of these forms of art.
Work added to this group must have significant graphic editing. Changing the colour, hue, tone, brightness, cropping, adding text, borders or applying just a texture or basic Photoshop filters or plug-ins does not = graphic editing.
