May Well Fall by piecesofcolour
Graphite on watercolour paper One of my favourite pieces from the Simple Woodland Creatures exhibition. I wrote the verse a while ago and found it in enough time to do this image for the exhibition. The wolf was planned, the rest of it just happened as I was drawing. ‘yes my dear / we may well fall, / may be the darkness and weakness and weight of it all / but it is also true / that we may well survive / through the faith in the hope of dreams kept alive’
