This little bamboo whisk has become and integral part of my daily routine. I use it to mix my matcha teas. I’m always impressed with the simple beauty of these Japanese tea ceremony items. It’s such a beautiful object on its own and the craftsmanship is impressive – cut from a single piece. I’m a creature of habit and this simple tool really reinforces my love of the ritual.
NEVER STOP!!!!!
Sometimes what we are seeking was there all along.
This came to me one cold, windy night. I couldn’t sleep so I began to write. After much contemplation, this piece, was born.
Just a change of pace to break up the monotony. I got started too late to get the regular story going. I just thought that you might enjoy something new.
another tribute to e.e. cummings and his poem “i carry your heart with me”. written for a close friend a while back I call my brother. miss you brother. although time and many miles between have caused us to drift apart, never forget, i carry your heart… xoxoxo
Touch…There is no time, / There is no world, / There’s only us / And this infinite, passionate Now.

The Golden Pavilion, or Kinkaku-ji, is a Zen Buddhist Temple in Kyoto, Japan. Originally built in 1397, it is listed as an UNESCO Historical Monument in Ancient Kyoto. It was destroyed by fire and rebuilt in 1950; then restored again in 1987, while the roof was restored in 2003. / The top two stories are covered in pure gold leaf, while the temple is surrounded by beautiful gardens. (Please feel free to contact me directly if interested in purchasing a framed or larger matted print than is available on this site! Thank you!)

102309 VENICE BEACH All in camera, no post work. Alas, trying to capture the colors of sunset was too big a job for me. If you live here, I highly recommend shooting this area around 6pm. It was amazingly and unbelievably beautiful there. Everyone had their cameras out.
Theme of the group is taken from the Indian perspective of spirituality ( & meditation ) reflecting the state of being free or unbinding.
