And I haven’t lost a single pound! Nina is one of only two remaining wild born Western Lowland gorillas at the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle. She is a grand old lady somewhere between 40 and 50 years old and she is wonderful! She has a fantastic sense of humor. She will sit looking so stoic for a while, then all of a sudden she will stick her tongue out and make faces! I just adore her! / Here she is basking in the glow of her heat lamps and enjoying a snack. She uses the stick you see in her hand as a cane at times when she is walking around. I suspect at her age, she has uncomfortable days just like the rest of us!
