What is PAX? PAX is designed to create energy and excitement around the artists it displays. Its purpose is to engage the viewer and draw them to the individual works. It is something that could only be created on the Internet. It harnesses the power 16,384 individual images but without diminishing any individual image. The viewer is engaged in the creation of the object and the determination of its meaning. This gives it its power. PAX moves from individual artist, to collection of artists and finally to the viewer within a single frame. All are intimately engaged and ultimately enriched by the meaningful work that is no greater than any single image within it and is designed to promote them all individually. New Art is a move away from art bestowed upon us, to art that ultimately embraces us as co-equals in its creation and interpretation. We have just begun to harness this potential on the Web. This is PAX. And this is Warm Iron and this is where you can discuss it. Who has created PAX Pax is no more than any one its 16,384 images and the artists who have made them. It has been “framed” by John Barratt, Martin Hosking, Ben Ryan and Xavier Shay. |

You did… it’s not offsite. We agree to terms and conditions when we sign up and this is just a feature ON-SITE, for people to explore work… plenty of work! |

Well, there are thousands of works in there, and looks like it opens up a random selection everytime ;-) |

As far as I can tell, it is promoting you with a link back to your work and this “piece of art” isn’t being sold. It is merely created to promote the great works that are part of it. |

It is a fine line that is being walked here . Who made it? |
Here’s who made it. |

I think it is a wonderful way of promoting the art of many but it is going to take hours to see them all. A suggestion thought it would be better when it brings up the thumbnail at the side to also include the artist’s name underneath and possibly title of the work… I know you can click through to the art… but it would be a better way of acknowledging the artist without the viewer having to click through on all images. |

Thx for that . All the copies have been made. I’ll let you know where the line stands. |

What I would like to kow is how does this differ from having your photo featured on the home page or for that fact featured anywhere else on redbubble? |
I love it too, just found my painting ;-) one question though, would it be possible to make it so that you can scroll down the image while it is zoomed in so you can glance thruogh all pics without moving the mouse over each and every one (easy to miss when you have it zoomed out so can find them all)? |
Rocketchook, all you ever seem to do around here is bitch and whinge. If you can’t cope with your work being featured – take it all and go home!! |

Maria move the little bar above the thumbnail. It will zoom in and out for you. |
