History 101 by parmi
Macro of an old Pears Cyclopaedia volume I have at home. I picked it up at an opportunity shop a few years ago. The book itself has no date of publication, but it is 9th Edition, and after a bit of internet research, I found out it was first published in 1897, making this particular book 103 years old! It includes an imperial measurement section, dictionary section missing several words from the 20th century (computer, internet, cyber, CAR!!), atlas section showing Africa with no more than 13 countries (no Zimbabwe, Botswana to name a few).
