  • In memoriam.... by Daniela M. Casalla

“That though the radiance which was once so bright be now forever taken from my sight. Though nothing can bring back the hour of splendor in the grass, glory in the flower. • BACK HOME by Daniela M. Casalla

Sold: 1 poster and 1 card (to anonimous buyers) “Happy, happy Christmas, that can win us back to the delusions of our childhood days, recall to the old man the pleasures of his youth, and transport the traveler back to his own fireside and quiet home!”(Charles Dickens) “¡Feliz, feliz Navidad, la que hace que nos acordemos de las ilusiones de nuestra infancia, le recuerde al abuelo las alegrías de su juventud, y le transporte al viajero a su chimenea y a su dulce hogar!”(Charles Dickens) ** / Check another version of this work, here*

  • Hopetoun Falls by Travis Easton

Along with Mackenzie Falls in the Grampians, Hopetoun Falls are probably the most photographed waterfall in Victoria. A popular tourist stop they are reached after a short although steep walk and tend to flow quite well year round. This is another waterfall I have visited and photographed many times but on this particular occassion the waterflow was perfect being enough to look nice and flow in distinct bands but not so much that the distinct bands merged into one. A beautiful spot in the Otways, Victoria, Australia. When I first got into selling framed prints this was my most popular picture selling two 8”x12” and 6”x9” within a few months of each other. For more pictures from this area check out my The Otways gallery. For more waterfall pictures check out my Waterfalls gallery. 10% of all profits go to the Wilderness Society

  • vibrant lily by Troy Spencer

this is a water lily shot with a Nikon D80 outside Gainsville’s (Florida, USA) Butterfly Museum. The light was perfect. Contemporary composition and a tiny saturation of the natural colors makes it a real eye-catcher. I have sold at least one 8×10 print at last years church bazaar, but it has also been donated twice, to Artopia, an auction benefit for AIDS Research and also as as a thank-you gift to my church’s choir director. Both times it was matted and framed. Plus, we had as many choir members from the past dozen years as we could find sign the back.

  • Loss by WanderingSoulArt

The Loss describes the fact that we all lost something, then we feel so lonely. It can be something or someone that made of us what we are, that made that we felt alive. / But finally all those events that hurt us so much built us, make us stronger and give us something in addition, something that will make us special! We only notice that (for those who notice it) a very long time later… In this creation this loss is reprensentated by the snail’s cockle, like if before she was in it, this was on her back, just like when a snail leave it. / But look at her back, ya see what she got in return? Wings. / The tree branches on her head symbolize her thoughts, so deeply rooted in her mind that she cannot see the good days and hope that are coming to her! This represents our blocked thoughts, when we feel so bad that we cannot help from having dark and depressive thoughts. / She also has elvish ears, the magicks she cannot see yet! So this creation is for those who actually feel bad, who have felt bad, who will feel bad. . Yet sold two posters of this creation. My gallery is Copyright © Wandering Soul. • Seven Sisters in the evening sunshine by ChelseaBlue

The Seven Sisters are a series of chalk cliffs by the English Channel, forming part of the South Downs in East Sussex, between the towns of Seaford and Eastbourne and within the Seven Sisters Country Park. The cliffs have been occasionally used in film and television as a stand-in for the more famous white cliffs of Dover, most famously featuring at the beginning of the film Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. In the foreground are the Coastguard Cottages, first built in 1818 by the Navy, being the officer’s house of the Customs and Excise watch. In 1840, they became a Coastguard station watching over the busy shipping in the Channel. World War II saw them occupied by the Army with Cuckmere Haven being heavily fortified against the potential of German assault forces landing there. Cuckmere came under frequent attack by bombers and fighter planes, and many soldiers lost their lives whilst defending the shoreline. I have been fortunate to sell a “matted print” of this image to a mystery buyer through the Redbubble site. Thank you to the buyer, whoever you are

About This Group

Have you ever felt a bit frustrated flicking through RBs Sales Tab about not knowing what format someone has achieved their sales in? Is it a card, or a mounted print they’ve sold – it’s a big difference. Well this group is to show what images or art you’ve sold in the “hard to sell” formats ie. everything except cards. So if you’ve sold a matted, mounted, framed or laminated print or a poster to someone else (ie you haven’t just bought them for yourself) this is where you tell the world. And over time we hope this will become a virtual museum of the art on RB that is so loved that is has sold in the more expensive formats.
Rules and Guidelines Summary:
1. No cards
2. Include in the descriptor for your image:
– what format you sold it in eg. mounted print, poster, etc.
– where you sold it (RB, other site, gallery exhibition, etc
– category of purchaser (RB member, mystery buyer, client, family, etc)
3. If you’ve sold more than one let us know that too!
4. If you can be bothered it would be great if you could include in the descriptor an image of the format you sold it in eg if you sold a large framed print click on this option in your image’s buy options and then copy the url for that option into your descriptor so we can see what format your purchaser chose to have your image in.
5. You can also post images if you’ve sold them at exhibition or at local shows, or even on another site for that matter – just as long as it’s in one of the hard-to-sell formats described above.
