October 4, 2009 – Luxembourg
There are many photos on here that feature the Lunar Eclipse on the 4th of March, 2007. This was my view so early in the morning. This photo was taken at the peak of the eclipse at 1:20 AM here in England. During the eclipse you can see a few stars that aren’t seen otherwise. It was a magnificent event of which I got a full range of shots from beginning to end. I am just in the process of learning how to put them all together in one piece so as to present them in it’s entirety. Until then, please do enjoy this, my favourite of the lot. • Canon EOS-1Ds Mark ll / • 28-300mm IS zoom lens w/ 2x converter / • f/5.6 / • 1.6 sec. / • ISO 800
Graphite, based on the fairy tale “The Swan Princess” Note: I discovered this among my things recently, this was a piece that I did back in high school. I really like how it came out so I decided to post it.

I had been seeing this gorgeous agave bloom every morning on my dog walks thinking that I should take a picture of it. Finally, one morning I took my camera along and got it with a full moon behind it. Lo and behold, that day we had a huge wind storm and the agave blossom was blown down. Perfect timing. The original moon in the photograph was replaced with another photograph of a perfect full moon. Photographed with a Panasonic DMC-FZ50. / “Agave Bloom” has been featured in: / DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY/September, 2009

/ in the group Live Love and Dream November 5 2009 / In the group Extreme Closeups November 6 2009 I was at my mom’s yesterday and there were a few of her roses that hadn’t succumbed to the frosts yet and so I thought I would take advantage of that fact and capture some of that beauty that will soon be resting during the winter for its next life season. So between now and then I’ll have some photography of the beautiful roses in her garden! Taken November 3, 2009 /
These flowers were the few that still were alive after the many frosts we have had. The bees were all over them. This is one of the photographs I took of one of the bees on these yellow flowers. / taken November 2009…..
