Stevie Nicks in a Night Priestess type aspect. With the stars and moon. This is the type of work I used to do about 10 years ago. It was connected more towards a devine/occult aspect. Trying to bring that back into my work, a kind of relationship with the night and being purely feminine. I was also inspired by Stevie Nick’s art as well and hence the background. This piece came from a lyric of Stevie’s song “Belladonna”. And the lady’s feeling / Like the moon that she loved / Don’t you know that the stars are / A part of us / And the lady’s feeling / Just like the moon that she loved 8×10.5 / Ink.

To a room with some lace / and paper flowers / Back to the gypsy / that I was / To the gypsy… / that I was And it all comes down to you / Well, you know that it does / Well, lightning strikes, / maybe once, maybe twice / Ah, and it lights up the night / And you see your gypsy 8.5×10 / Ink. Maybe…. was it just a dream that I dreamed eons ago, and yet it was so…... real seems…..... so real, for I can still taste your kisses, your hot and sweat driven beautiful body filled with passion and desire against mine filled with passion we were both lost in the fire, the desire, the dream of Sweet Rejoice.

We had been traipsing around the galaxy in hunt of the legendary city known as Temple City. It is said the civilization there depended greatly on their priests to run the city and their government. From our past history, we know how that can end. As we walked througout the many levels of the city, there was cinder scattered all over. Having dual suns made the lighting a bit eerie at times. There was no wildlife in the air nor the ocean. We found no life in the city. The temples were gorgeous, but there was a feeling of sadness all throughout the area. We left with the feeling of great loss. And no, we did no treasure hunting. :o) Created in Incendia with postwork done in Photoshop for Hue and some clean up with smudging and painting that never seemed to go away from the 6 day render. Some of the forms just seem to work out that way. Thank goodness for Photoshop. :o)
