Hiking again, close to home, down a narrow country lane, I discovered this derelict cottage …. love the timber frame, I think the corrugated roof may have been quite noisy in our rainy climate !! A shame to see it in this state of decay though ….......... Canon 300D 18-55 lens / Photoshop CS3 / PhotoArtMaster / Layer upon layer …..... Newtown, Mid Wales, UK Copyright 2009 Richie Dean

I was debating whether or not to upload this but in the end I figured, why not – if the model doesn’t like it then I can remove it later. That model by the way, is of course, Sophie. / This image may not be up long :p

The lovely Dan. Another hard working member of the team. Dan is in charge of the general running on the show. If there are any problems, he’s the man to see/ ask for help. His cans or headphones link up with lighting, sound and front of house and so is able to pass on messages that we can’t. He’s usually behind the scenes and i always think it’s a shame that he and the crew don’t get a nice bow like we do. / Again, he is up with the lark and works long hours. Another chap with a permanent smile who is a joy to be around and when you’re feeling down and a long way from home.. he’s good guy for hugging! ;) Cheers Dan..keep up the good work. / / Concorde, New Hampshire. Quite an old image… well, a few months old. Taken with an Asahi Pentax K1000 on a 400 ISO XP2 film.
Taken at the University of Lincoln campus between the MHT and EMMTEC buildings. Don’t ask about the title :p Just sorta came to me :).
The quality here isn’t great because the image was scanned in, dragged into another document and resized. This is a current image I took with my Pentax K1000 on a XP2 film for a project called ‘Light in the Everyday’. My friend said this, and a few others, reminded her of the work of Arthur Tress, who I am currently researching. This was my favourite image from the 36 I took.
Any ideas what this actually is? / This was taken in a street somewhere near Carholme Road, Lincoln.
This is Brad, he’s a top lighting designer in the U.S and we are honoured to have him work with us on the show i’m currently appearing in. It’s my night off so i got chance to see things from their perspective for a change. / He sleeps on the tour bus with us but works ten times as hard. When we arrive at a new venue in the morning, he’s up first thing rigging the lights, setting up, making sure everything is how it should be. He then has to do the show and after wards, de-rig, puts everything back on the truck and he still has time to join us for a beer or two before bed. I’ve never seen him without a smile on his face and so for that…i tip my hat. Thanks for all your hard work Brad.. x / / Concorde, New Hampshire. U.S.A / /
