One of the breathtakingly beautiful ceilings in the Nasrid Palaces of the Alhambra. Every time I have gone into these rooms (this was our fourth visit) I have felt overcome with emotion. The beauty here is just astounding. Since I first went there in 2000, I’ve wanted to photograph properly these wonderful ceilings. At last I now have a camera and lens that I hope have done them justice. This photo now features in my book A Portrait of the Alhambra. Number of image uploads not limited, but please make sure they are of good quality. The “Here I am next to some statue like every other tourist” photo is not the sort we’re looking for. Offer your most creative and most insightful interpretations of the cultures and countries that make up the Iberian Peninsula. Reveal something new, expected, irresistible about this part of the world. Please no images of just flowers etc, as they could be taken anywhere in the world.
Oh and I like to have fun too, so I will, if I wish, enter the challenges!
