There will be a preview of my Retrospective exhibition at the People’s Theatre at Heaton in Newcastle upon Tyne – 3 November at 6.30pm to 9pm. Creepy Carnival by Karin Elizabeth
This is my very first Holga shot (I’ve uploaded a few others here at red bubble, but this was the first of the roll). This photo didn’t even come out squared when the film got developed, a chunk was cut off, but other than that I am very satisfied with how it looks. Thank you Bruce the Holga for enriching my photography experience ;)

I haven’t been particularly prolific of late on RB, as I have been finding my way around using my new Graflex Speed Graphic Pre Anniversary, and my own development (using Kodak TMax 100 film, Kodak HC-110 developer and Ilford Rapid Fixer). Here are some results: / Produce – my first attempt at BW processing / Lamp Post, Treasury Casino / Ferris Wheel, South Bank Parklands – alternative development dilution, didn’t go quite to plan / Food Connect Cart, South Bank Greenfest 2008

Big film enthusiasts unite! This group is all about chunky, vivid, high res film photography – that is, bigger than 35mm – and the people that shoot it. Whether you shoot using a Holga 645 or a custom-built 20×24 monster, whether you get your prints developed at the local lab or print them yourself, we want your best work!
If you have wisdom to share and it relates to medium or large format photography, we want that too!
