All rights reserved I wish to give credit and honor the work of the fantastic Spanish artist Manolo Valdés, whose statues of bronze made out of his vision of “Las Meninas” of Velázquez and the “Dama de Elche” (One of the most famous fenician head sculptures of the whole world. Along about four months all this work was scattered on the main streets of my city, and I had the pleasure of touching, cherishing, admiring and photographying them at leisure… even the little children had the chance to mount on them and find how brilliant and creative our human race is. / This one… my Breathing Bubbling Prayer is done with “Dama de Elche”s sculpture. You can easily find in Internet all the info you may wish to have about the same one. The rest… is my own.. for once the artist “gives” their work to the other souls…. these make it their own… and transform it to a new and different reality. I had to tell it… feel sorry and a little lazzy not to have it done before… Thanks for your attention.     Fairly well hidden within the glowing orb is a Salisbury House (aka Sals) restaurant situated in the MIDDLE of the Esplanade Riel (a footbridge over the Red River here in Winnipeg). The restaurant is unique in that it is one of the few in the world actually built on a bridge – hence I felt it deserved the special treatment given it here!!!

The entire island of Maui is an enormous mountain rising up from depths of the ocean floor and surrounded by the vast and beautiful Pacific Ocean. The West Maui mountains are older than the East Maui mountains, and specifically the majestic summit of Haleakala, is one of the highest mountains on earth, a massive shield volcano that forms more than 75% of the Hawaiian Island of Maui, which is 10,023 feet in elevation from sea level. Information Source: Wikipedia. The more eroded, highest peak of the West Maui mountains is Pu’u Kukui at 5,788 feet. The sacred O ‘Iao Valley is the most famous valley of this mountain range. The West Maui Mountains or West Maui Volcano, known to Hawaiians as Mauna Kahalawai and Hale Mahina, form a much eroded shield volcano that constitutes the western one-quarter of the Hawaiian Island of Maui. I feel so honoured, I am an Aussie, born in Wollongong NSW, raised in a country town called Walcha, I have 3 grown kids, 5 grand babies with one on the way, I have never been to an art lesson, so all my work is trial by error.

I stumbled on RB while nursing a broken ankle last February and since them have became quiet addicted to the site and the programs I use. These are corelpss, adobe elements 6, ultra fractal 5, and a new one that I just got called Xenodream, which is amazing, if you love fractals than this is the program to check out!

I now live in an isolated place called Yarrowitch NSW, which is located on the Oxley Highway heading towards Port Maquarie on the north coast. I love gardening and have 100 roses alone in my garden along with apple, orange, peach, and lemon trees…

Here’s the deal…I use Digital Abstract Art as a form of spiritual exploration, meditation, celebration…and all the other ‘ations people have been using art in general for. This medium of artistic expression is relatively new to me, and feels like a vast territory waiting for future exploration, and I am suddenly an explorer.

This Group..is about the connections between the written word and the image….an expression of what that art is…poetic, descriptive, fun, mysterious….what ever it takes to explain the essence of the art you have created…or what ever you have to say about it all!!

Inversely …IF THE WRITING is the focal point and an image is an after thought… submit the writing piece with the image beside it…..these are collaborations of the images and words…either something you talk over with only yourself (I know you do)…or even better reach out and let yourself be inspired by somebody else’s image or poem

I have seen so much unique and quality work from so many artists out there lately… poetic talents matched with digital skillz to create a masterpiece of art…that’s the deal…right there!
