Hide and Seek and Love

Hide and Seek and Love

I love this game – i think children all over the world love this game and i love it when i think of our similarites instead of our differences and this is what this tree did for me – i also wondered how many children had hid in it. *

Great capture and concept Deb – the lining of the trees brings about a reality/fantasy concept again (It would be interesting if you could have the leaves+- far background in a slightly/desaturated colour to contrast with the detail in the central and very cute subject and the tree). Very nice series developing.

I am going to ask RedBubble if they can build in an auto-fav function for your work in my Bubble. This is going to lead to a severe case of RSI. As I said earlier, I think you are a great illusionist. Every illusionist act consists of three parts: The promise, The change and The prestige. Yes, I saw the movie. So does yours:

-The promise: a young girl hiding in a tree.
-The change: wait a minute, this is not just a girl hiding in a tree. It is much more. Look at the light on the tree and the light on the horizon. Look at the leaves on the foreground. This is a vision.
-The prestige: it is me hiding in the tree, and my neighbour and every child ever born on this world.

Love your line of thought. It is a way of looking at life that is repeated again and again by the Daila Lama too.

If you had done this as a straight shot it would have been a girl hiding in a cool tree. With your processing, it goes further and it’s now about all of us dreaming back to when we were hiding in trees and playing games. Again, you have the knack for putting us there, deep in thought, and relating to our own experiences. You rock big!
