Strong image. ‘Light going through darkness becomes more light’, I once read. Think it is true. It is the theme of catharsis. Makes us stronger in the things we believe in. I think you depicted this theme very good. The darkness is so emotive. And the waving reed is beautiful and also gives a sense of lonelyness. I can almost see it moving and I hear the sound of the wind playing with the reed. The way you depicted the light is very subtle, strong and convincing. Yes, lets go for the light within.

I also looked at all your new work. Boy can I see that you are driven by great creative forces at the moment. Love to see how you are improvising on the many layers of your theme. Like a jazz musician rising above the matter and creating new compositions. Graffiti is pure power and jazz! Love it.

I love the soft contrasts in the grasses and then to contast that, you have the strong contrast in light on Abes head.. how many more times can I say contrast? But you do it so well!
