Astounding photograph. Everything’s so perfectly done in this. A wonderful young woman closed into the furthermost corner of a beautiful room and twisted into herself, held there by all the angles. The empty bed, record player, wine, radiator are a such great elements, a landscape captured in a second, something about to happen but with intense emotion like viewing the inside of a cyclone.

Has a definate vintage feel to it but I sense a woman trapped. By the size of the window I get the impression she is held in a tower against her waiting for someone to rescue her.

wow, this really struck me. at first i thought she was looking in a mirror – rather than out a window – and it freaked me out that there was no reflection there. you titled it dream, but all i can see through the tones and the sparseness is more of a sad dream – like a reflection on things that will never happen…it has struck me deeply
