This is just beautiful with a capital B. The detail and light on the dandelion are just superb. The gorgeous yellows and orange really bring it too life. I like the way the light’s been used to even highlight the hairs on the stem.

The soft focusing of the background give enough away about the surroundings while the main focus point stays with the dandelion.

What an absolutely gorgeous shot. Ironically I just did something similar without seeing this. It is funny how we are on two sides of the planet and both noticed the light coming through a dandylion. I find that really quite fascinating. My moment was when I was laying on the ground photographing horses. How did you notice this lovely image? I have to say I like the colours of the sun in this one.
