( i get a lot of ideas, but not that many come to fruition! ) I collect kaleidoscopes & have a lot of fun with repetition, i think that may be why i like this one so much!? xxx

Yes, I hope that you find access to the prose poem by Mallarme. I wish texts were easier to access on line. I’m borderline computer illiterate—otherwise I’d help you to hone in on it .

It is sad that such burdens can blind us to beauties .

And, incidentally , I like the new name which you have christened with me ‘Sam’. That was once the name of the family dog: a Shih-Tzu . Also I have a new friend in the apartment complex where I’ve moved named Sam who is a fellow fan of old Country-Western music .

wow, great eyecatching image and the story behind it is amazing! My husband works just near a prison and it’s always a little unnerving walking past there, hearing the shouting and watching the masses of police officers smoking outside the front door. It does make me wonder what kind of person would voluntarily enter such a place to work there!
