Hey Helen…I was on this train bridge 4 months pregnant (years ago)
and I kid you not…a train was coming-I was halfway across to Kentucky!
Me and a friend. We had to lay on the catwalk as the train roared by. Freaked me
out…heh. I’ve been attracted to it ever since. ;)

I lov trains, travel on a train whenever I take vacations or go across the state. you are braver than I am. I am only on a train bridge when I am in a train. This is a great shot. it has character.

Marcus, the perspective up there (& I was up pretty high over the River) wasalready very neat, but what I did, is changed the aspect ratio in the post work. I extended the height, stretched it a bit higher than it actually was to give it a film
look. Like the old spaghetti westerns do. It adds something extra sometimes that you can’t get in a simple filter, etc. It was pretty much already like this..but it gave it that extra “something” that I felt was missing from it. Thanks for checking it out…al of you guys. :)

To go out when it is ten degrees is dedication, but as always your dedication pulled off more than beautifully. This is stunning. In some ways it has an old Alfred Hitchcock sort of creepy what is lurking sort of feel. Yet when I look at it again it sort of holds a sad feel for me.. a lonely feeling, but not bad, just quite. The tones in this are gorgeous.. the composition is stunning and perfect. Great Great Great job.

As I follow, I know not where,
Birds soar above my tasseled hair,
Fear wants to grip me deep down there,
Not sure why I’m feeling scared.

With a sky darkly brewing,
I feel something strangely pulling,
With each step I can feel it growing,
I’m gonna die without ever knowing.

The tones of black and gray are both scary and brooding against the lonely train tracks and upcoming trestle. I love the birds, possibly vultures lazily hanging in the sky floating on dark currents as they wait for what may. You have a dark side in you and lucky for us you have the ability to share it. Amazing
