The Spirit of Prophecy (vers. 1)
“Now I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.” Rev 19:11
These are the days of grace. The King is giving His creation time to come to their senses, and even now has His nailed-scarred hand extended out to humanity, to all who will come to Him. He offers peace, salvation, and forgiveness. Yet, as any earthly king knows well, there will be those who contest His right to rule over them, and these objectors will have to be absolutely dealt with in order to establish His absolute monarchy.
Why not acknowledge His might now? I certainly have, for I don’t want to be one of the countless rebels who are forced to bend the knee and confess Jesus Christ as Lord. I want to be “in good” with the Great King who is soon returning to reign and rule.
Is this the Jesus we think about often? I would say, “No”.
Yet, consider these words penned by King David, a man who knew his King quite well.
“Now therefore, be wise, O kings;
be instructed, you judges of the earth.
Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
Kiss the Son, lest He be angry,
And you perish in the way,
When His wrath is kindled but a little.
Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him.”
From the Book of Psalms
Psalm 2: 10-12

Thank you for posting this message, although you state that it is a “short version”....I have a few family members, who are very dear to me, that think that “God forgives everybody”, even those who sin and ignore Him. I wrestle with Patience everyday standing lovingly in the gap, praying that the Truth will permeate soon.. These are words to be encouraged by…. We are to be MEEK, NOT WEAK…Sometimes standing against evil means not being too nice…”be angry and sin not”...I still have the hardest time not cussing about the situation when I am angry..This will help me in my next flustered, yet authoritative, proclamation of the truth where my family, and others, are concerned…The art is absolutely wonderful. Such a grand talent…
