WINTER’S DANCE
Raven hair.. lips so red
Hair prancing around her head
She is in a cosmic state
Dancing so the snow can escape
The skies above so gray and cold
She is one who will never grow old
Sleeping all summer awaking the end of fall
Having the most beautiful dance of all
Slowly she wakes and rubs her eyes
That is when she realizes
Winter is coming and she must be prepared
And she brushes out her beautiful hair
She starts her dance as a slow minuet
Being so wise she will never forget
How her special dance goes
Her body so beautiful it glows
The first dance and there is cold air
And a frigid breeze everywhere
A second dance of a spirit free
Lets the snow fall on you and me
Then her third dance she is quite wild
The world ices up for a while
Then she will slowly go back to rest
Knowing that each winter is best
