Thanks for all the comments!!!! I must admit that I nearly fell off my perch when I downloaded it!!! It was a truly amazing display of surf and being there so early in the morning gave the added bonus of the sunrise light. Sometimes it’s worth setting the alarm.

Amazing Heather -your composition is just wonderful and that light fantstic. How do you find the extender? Was thinking of getting one for the 70-200 and clearly this is sharp – were you using a tripod with it? Is the weight much worse?
