Mother Teresa appeared recently in one of My Spiritual Paintings, I didn’t upload it because I thought there wouldn’t be great interest in Mother Teresa. I see that your superb portrait is just exceptional! I feel I need to take a few breaths before I write anything. You have honoured a wonderful woman who gave everything of herself. She won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979 and India’s highest civilian honour, the Bharat Ratna, in 1980 for her humanitarian work. Thank you Hidemi for remembering her…..She would have wanted you to sell the painting and donate the proceeds to her charity where it would do some good....I can hear her now! Beautiful work! Beautiful painting, I think what most appeals compositionally is the way the folds and creases in Teresa’s clothing reflects that within her hands and face, it gives the image a really lovely rhythm. Also as I think has been mentioned before the colour choice is great, the really rich orange/browns contrasting beautifully on the blues. Really really nice work. Very well done.

I forgot to mention the fawltless lighting and highlights – just great.
