Lost in summer’s garden
Of roses, irises, and orchids,
Adrift in a heavenly scent
That lends perfume to the wind.
Surely this is paradise on Earth,
An Eden if ever I was sure,
When I die I pray I might
Take a seed to plant at Heaven’s door.
Earth possesses no finer treasure –
A taste of the flourish around the golden gates
That will welcome us to the ever after
And all the wonder that lies in wait.

.... in flower-land, in the domain of the Flower Fairy ”…where all flowers used to converse, live, breathe as they interchanged odors…”
But a group of flowers, tired of this life, asked a permission to the Flower fairy to go to earth and assume a human form..
and explainig how they intended to live :
- the corn poppy being a sheperdess,
- the daisy a fortune-teller,
- the rose a duchess
- the wild-rose wanted to be an author ..”
This comes from a book-work written by a frenchman (J.J. Grandville) and published in 1847 under the name “the flowers personified”.

Look at this flower maybe she wanted to become an angel ……. doesn’t it look like as a wing of an angel..
