Australian Maid
a variation on a tee shirt design I posted yesterday for a challege over in the Tee Shirt Revolution group…. that one is called grrly girl
and this one is called Australian Maid…. as opposed to Made in Australia…. coz these shirts don’t get made in Australia…

Nice – I like the way that turned out :o) If I were to suggest one thing, it’d be to drop the text – IMHO, the image works wel enough on it’s own (love the dash of colour in the iris BTW – very nice touch!).

hey thanks Simon…. you don’t like the text… I thought it might be nessary to balance the pink flash of hair and in her eyes….and I just liked the play on words to be honest….
see this is what happens when we push each other sometimes…. good things happen… it’s good…....:)

No worries – let me also say that I’m not averse to the text, I just think you’ve done a nice enough job on the image itself that it isn’t necessary. Saying that – it is a nice play on words, and you could even work a bit of a series around it using the text as a logo (if you’ve noticed, I’m a little hung up on creating series of works ;oD)
I’d also be interested in seeing an inverted version (neg style), but that may be a little too spooky ;o)
And damn straight – pushign each other so we push our own creative envelopes is what it’s all abour – I’m just happy to help out with suggestions where I can!
