CONTEMPLATING CHRIST
The Beast and I belongs to the following groups:
ABSTRACT DIGITAL ART AND WRITINGI woke up this morning
Determined to see,
A flaying and ugly monstrosity
Rotten and sullen and bad
To the core,
I one time called this monster
A low down dirty whore
This monster I speak of will say
Every time,
Hurtful summations of all that
Is mine,
I wanted to look at a part
Of its claws
That scratched at the surface and
Bound up my jaws
A puppet of terror,
A beast of the night
I wanted to see it with
All of my might
I sat up and listened as the
Monster came near,
I sat up and saw it as it claimed
All my fear,
Eyes like burning coals
And legs like a bear
I knew I was in for a fight
And I dared,
To open my eyes and my
Broken heart too,
And then I did something I never
Did do,
Before I would run with a head full
Of lies,
This morning I took pity and
Tore off its disguise,
I saw passion and pity
I saw a whole other me
That wanted to tell me
Be all you can Be.
Don’t cower to your strength
Don’t fear your demise,
Because all of you working
Together is wise,
The Crone and the Master,
The Servant and Beast,
Are parts of you darling that
Make up this great feast,
So I sighed and I laughed and
I knew I had won
As this beast and I dined on the
Story of One.

Read what I wrot Assef.. dar.. my beasts and I feast all the time now that I have heart..(ART).. I am able to use the dirt/mud and create the lotus/and sing of the mud dirt whence I came from.. just fun is all.. nothing heavy.. good morning dar!

Ok Linaji – I read this the first time silent and I was a bit taken by the sadness then I read it again aloud like a Dr. Seuss poem and I caught the light and the future and the goodness—really nice that the poem could hold both ends of this dichotomy together – cheers friend – dave
