Searing the Ground
The Sun Burns Fierce
Through the Ozone
Its Spear does Pierce

Hold Back the Seas
To Feed His thirst
Harness the Tide
Til the Dam has Burst

Fell the Forests
Chop Her Down
Lay to Ruin
Her Glorious Crown

All His Bridges
Have been Burnt
Nothing gained
…..Nothing Learnt

Where to now….?
Oh…..Learned Scribes
Practice the Ways
Of the Ancient Tribes

Now that the Circle
Has Been Complete
Begin again
But Do Not Repeat
