Well they’d have to reject it Mel – the saturation is understated if anything I think but maybe I should stop eating those mushrooms – beautiful.

The saturation in that sky makes the image, I think. Reality is overrated!

wow! hey did i just read that geoff has mushrooms??

I think if there is an oversaturated group I should be head mod with everyone yelling at me to tone it down a tad. This just looks soothing to me Mel and not heavy on the saturation at all. The water looks like tobacco in liquid form with enough movement in it to give it that sheen across it that makes you think you could put a spoon in and give it a stir for good measure. The textures on the jetty are brought out in superb detail, especially in the two lone juts on their own. Finally the sky sits nicely and softy coloured feeling free from the restraint and burden of clouds.

So much depth and tone .. looks like time has stood still here !!

I would never say oversaturated. I would say rich and luscious and something I’d like to sink my teeth into, or roll around in, or walk to the end of the dilapidated pier and JUMP into those waters…just to disturb the perfect serenity AND to feel as if I were the only person in the world swimming at its center.
