Superb shot. Your photos are so amazing that it’s impossible to pick out a favorite.

You did so many things with this shot that are near to impossible with a fast moving and easily startled animal! The composition is great, the catch lights in his or her eyes, the detail of the front paw against the chest and the fur looks so soft you just want to pet the little thing. The squirrels here chewed my heavy duty trash containers, dig through the garbage, get into atics and drive me crazy but this pic makes me like them!!!

I have worked as a Park Ranger Naturalist in Yosemite for many years, and am now a practicing veterinarian and campground host, so I’ve seen lots of squirrels over the years, but never such a perfect composition and delightful expression. Hey Mundy, Been a while since I’ve browsed through. As expected! Your shots shine.
This is a rather perplexing one for me, as these guys go oh so good with dumplings. ha
Really though Great shot with the colors au Naturale’ and the moss just wows it too!
Been up to Baxter a very very long time ago, Plucked clams and mussels from Fundy too…Love the Maine coastline

this is a stunning shot so difficult to get them tae stay still!! in scotland the red squirrel is the indigenous breed but unfortunatly someone in there wisdom introduced the american grey and the reds are being pushed out and becoming harder to spot ..the one wee ray of hope is that the pine martin has taken a liking to the greys for lunch and slowley the reds are making a wee comeback…..sorry if i hav just bored ye tae death!
