    you are so good at this layering mullarkey now! any tips?!? just slap all the stock pics on separate layers and get the eraser out? :]

    Thank you :) I actually cut most of the pieces out first. Then place them all as separate layers in the one document. I do use the eraser and clone tools quite a bit whilst working. Add shadows and I also use a lot of textures and play around with the colours a lot. I find that, that helps to blend it all together. Hope this helps…

    so i ran across your portfolio tonight for the first time.. your talent is remarkable, and this piece struck me the most… it’s haunting.. so much beauty around her, birds, butterflies, but she’s consumed with her own soul and loneliness, and i love the music sheet in the background.. very symbolic and i can think of several ways to take it.. very well thought out, superb coloring, and wonderful composition. i’m a fan!
