BiographyofRed8
wow… (I actually said it out loud as well) this is both unusual and strangely familiar at the same time.. fantastic imagery, very lyrical
actually the more I gaze through the picture, the middle becomes like a port hole, as though the area around is a ship, I don’t know how you made it so that it looks like I could climb through the hole… hahaha
I love these metaphors.. but more than that.. i love this piece as it speaks to me
Paul Compton replied
I couldn’t ask for a comment more wonderful than that. I’m so glad you appreciate this and I thank you immensely for your support : )

Lisa Jewell
Amazing work…
I feel as though instead of looking out of a porthole into the water…this scene is in reverse….I’m looking into a ship; and into a different world…
Paul Compton replied
Thank you Lisa, I really appreciate this comment : )
davidbeards1

This is a beautiful image – it does indeed make me think of a reverse, looking into a ship with a magic hidden woorld inside, while perhaps I’m drowning outside … hhhhmmmmmmm.
it woud also make an outstanding trompe l’oeil…

The InnerNorth...
very interesting work
,like a 1890s luna park viewing platform
Mui-Ling Teh
I see; yes this too has the theme of evolution in it. The two forms of life shown are certainly both originally from the water. I don’t know if I would have thought about it had I not seen and commented on ”... To Posses You With”, but I’m glad you brought my attention to this; and I see it in a very interesting point of view.
