There are no real tricks to my B&W’s, there are a few layers, lots of contrast and a little HDR, i also think the camera has got alot to do with it. The B&W setting on my Sony is just magic. I’ve done a little work for clients that i’ve been confident enough just to hand them the memory stick and say “off you go and print these off” but only in B&W mode.

this piece says more to an old hippie in colorado than you may know. we cycle and recycle. i am putting on favorites and watchlist so when i can this will be purchased for children and still my wee babe grans. you say much more than time and space. beautiful with seeing the thought so real even today. that way they can see. i dont have to talk my head off. which gives me a great idea for drawing, wow first idea. i am newby, love the crative passion, across the world. art is my life. took a break, glad to connect and see and now getting ideas again. miss living amoungst like minds. now i dont. thank you a very powerful artist you are janet

You really caught the inherent danger of being out in the street when passions are running high. I love the way every person in it is in their own mindspace, despite being so physically close. Amazing work Paul- how many images did you take to have this one crystallise so beautifully?

LOL! Great question! I know you are not going to believe me but i took about 200 images on the day but only one of this couple. It was by chance that I made eye contact with this young lady that she began to “play” at the camera, so I snapped, literally!! :D
