Beautiful colours and capture, looks like you have had a fair amount of rain judging by the flooded dams
reflector replied
Thanks Trudi ! We’ve had funny weather really. Spring came a tad early and then it has wavered between Spring and wet “wintery” conditions.

Yep! That’s Tenambit alright. What a wonderful job you’ve done with this, it looks very Old Master!
reflector replied
Thanks Sonia, much appreciated ! This isn’t the same treatment as some of my others that look like paintings.

a great capture of a very peaceful scene !!! very well titled
reflector replied
Thanks very much my friend ! I was really surprised by the scenery around there. Just imagine what it must have been like for explorers hundreds of years ago, traveling to foreign lands – just amazing. Thanks for the fave !
sleepyeyedrar
I think I was born in the wrong time zone….of course I DO LIKE my running water ….but I can imagine the freedom and the freshness of the land. I think the exploreres were delighted at their finds.
reflector replied
Very true ! They often described the scenes before them as heaven and paradise.
Babbler
very nice capture
reflector replied
Thanks very much Violetta ! It’s also been edited with effects, but not “heavy” ones. Thank you for the fave !
blamo
I like the way the scenery goes on for ever
reflector replied
So did I Blamo ! This is about 20 minutes from the place I took “A Big Land” – different orientation, but the same effect. Thanks for the Fave !

The colors are very pretty. It does look peaceful in this beautiful country area. x

I like those clouds they remind me of the Art for “The Simpson”s” intro ! It looked far better in real life – that water looked so great lying all over the fields. Thanks a lot for the fave !
dinghysailor1
teehee laughing at the thought of bart and lisa heading over under those clouds! a lovely view of some great scenery and the flood…
reflector replied
Bart wouldn’t head under them, he’d grab a Lasso and try to pull one out of the sky ! Then he’d graffiti all over it and throw it back into the sky, running off giggling.
What flood ? :) Our floods would cover that shed !
david campbell
fantastic
reflector replied
Thanks David ! I loved the views up that way – often so flat, but hemmed in by hills on the horizons. Thanks for making it a fave !

Wonderful image the fields ook like you have had a bit of rain. We have had some in Vic but not nearly enough. They are saying the conditions are the same as Ash Wednesday ! so not looking forward to the fire season !. This is a beautiful image , lovvely colour ! Jane
reflector replied
Thank you Jane ! I was in Victoria after the Ash Wednesday fires [ in 1983 ?]. It was incredible to see the damage. Yes, we’ve had a very “mixed” Spring – awesome sunshine, then torrential rain.
janeymac
I wasn’t living in the Mount Macedon area at that time However I do now and every year you can see the grass looking drier ! cheers Jane
reflector replied
I know little about that fire and Victorian locations. I just knew that it was a devastating fire – one of the worst in recent decades. Cheers, James

You were ‘creeping up’ on this one James ;) (same shot but closer of a previous scene). Like the fresh colours and happy red cow, bet this farmer has a boggy back paddock. (Like the Simpson idea with the graffitied cloud – you should be writing the series!)
reflector replied
I took about a dozen there from many depths and angles ! Yes, this is zoomed and mildly edited to tweak the look towards a painting – just mellow though. I was trying to think of a line for the Graffiti but got a “block” right then. Darn !
