I was supposed to be cleaning up my external hard drive but I kept coming up with forgotten images which were ‘too good’ to trash! So here’s one from my Canon G7 dollied up to make a simple but true statement.

    Hola Rosalie!

    This is really lovely kiddo. That G7 did a great close-up job on this exquisite rose and your focus has ensured the sweet detail of the flower is seen clearly and sharply and the composition is excellent, especially for a card.
    I do suggest though that if you were to revisit this that you use a smaller font so it does not intrude on the centre of the rose.
    The quote itself is sentimental and true.

    Thanks for your wonderful constructive thoughts and encouragement my friend … I did try the font a little smaller but it looked a bit out of balance. Although I am not crazy about the phrases being broken up as they are, this also was the subject of some rearranging to allow the flower to feature. There’s a real art to getting the phrasing, font, weight of the lettering, positioning etc exactly right! I do appreciate the favouriting – thanks a heap!!! :)
