GREAT PHOTO…IS THERE MORE TO THE STORY….DID THEY MOVE OUT.LEAVE THE MATRESS AND CURTAINS BUT TAKE THE WINDOWS AND DOORS. THESE OLD BUILDING REALLY FASCINATE ME….WHEN I WAS A KID WE LIVED IN A ONE ROOM HOUSE ON THE ALASKA HIGHWAY. WE LEFT IT IN PRISTINE CONDITION AND MY MOTHER LEFT WILD FLOWERS IN A JAM JAR ON THE WINDOWSILL FOR THE NEXT TENANT.

Thanks Angi and Diane. I really don’t know the story behind this house. It is near where I live and I pass it all the time, so I just decided to stop. The blue room photo is from the same house. There is glass on the floor and around the windows, so looks like they were all broke. I find them fascinating as well, and it would be nice to know the story about the family as well.
