My Dear Paul! I know and understand exactly what you feel. It is sometimes very important to have reflective moments when everything appears dormant and life can to be less fulfilling. I have felt like this since the fires started in Australia. I have experienced a great emotional loss for a country I love. The people and animals that have perished have caused me great pain. This painting which represents my feelings for Australia and the people that I love makes me understand that with pain we become wiser and more compassionate. I have been very busy painting for The Australia Appeal Fund and trying to make alot of people aware of the tragedy that has hit Australia…..a country I love. I lived there many moon’s ago and had a wonderful time! The lost of human and animal life has left me drained and I have been experiencing alot of pain. Today, is the first day since the fire started that I feel a little better myself. This painting is obviously part of the healing process. Thank you for your support!
