Magic Travis, lovely to see this beautiful photogenic creek is still like this. Wasnt sure if it had escaped the fires or not.
Travis Easton replied
Hi Garth,
It was certainly in the firing line as illustrated by the massive fire break they built just a few km up stream from here in the headwaters but due to a bit of luck and good old hard work by the cfa it was saved fortunately.
John Kowalski

Very nice shot Trav.
It’s the spot I call “Bridal Veil Rock”.
Need to get up that way again soon.
Travis Easton replied
This rock is almost too perfect, the beautiful way it veils off always captivates me. Nature seems to always do the best landscape gardening.

Wonderful creek photograph mate, love this spot.
Definitely an angle I haven’t seen before.
Any snow up there yet ?
Travis Easton replied
Usually I try to visit when the water level is a bit higher and the curtain of water forms better but at this slightly lower water level these rocks were exposed so I ran with it. Thanks it is satisfying to get a unique angle on a popular subject.

A favourite place for my camera club to visit too :-) we have been known to get “off the baten track” when there and have suffered the consequences with leeches, broken tripods etc… Lovely image… might need to go back again soon!!!! :-D
