And everything so fresh
To laugh out loud and giggle
And play Hide & Seek
Thinking no one saw you
When really they did peek
To tell secrets
As we did before
And important things
We could ignore
Picking flowers
In a big bunch
The ones that our moms
Loved so very much
Thinking of their smiles
As we handed them a bouquet
I don’t think there could ever be
A more desired day
I found a Secret Garden
Where we could really smile
Perhaps inside of us
We will find that child
